For more than four decades, Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center has been dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to children and families throughout our community. Founded by Dr. Robert D. Camps, our practice was built on a foundation of compassion, education, and excellence in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Robert D. Camps devoted over 40 years to pediatric dentistry, creating a legacy that continues to guide and inspire our team today. A proud graduate of Howard University, Dr. Camps pursued specialized training in pediatric dentistry, extending his academic journey for an additional two years. His passion for teaching led him to serve as an Assistant Professor at Howard University’s College of Dentistry, where he educated future pediatric dentists in Interceptive and Early Orthodontic Treatment.
Dr. Camps believed that every child deserves a positive, supportive, and comfortable dental experience. His commitment to quality care and patient-centered service became the cornerstone of our practice philosophy. Beyond his work with patients, he mentored countless young dentists, encouraging them to approach their profession with integrity, empathy, and excellence.
