It’s such a joy to do what I love every day—help children smile brighter and healthier. I’m a board-certified pediatric dentist, a proud New Jersey native, and part-owner of Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center. I strive to make every dental visit a positive, encouraging experience, full of compassion and patience.
My path to pediatric dentistry began at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where I earned my dental degree in 2006. From there, I completed a general practice residency at Harlem Hospital, followed by advanced pediatric training at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Throughout my career, I’ve been deeply involved in both local and international dental outreach efforts. These experiences opened my eyes to the global need for pediatric dental care and reinforced my commitment to serving children. In the clinic, I’m known for my gentle demeanor and genuine love for working with kids—a combination that makes this profession the perfect fit for me.
Most people are surprised to learn I have a twin sister, who I’m extremely close to, along with an older sister who’s been a big part of my life. Growing up with a twin was a unique experience that taught me the value of teamwork, empathy, and having someone to lean on.
I’m a proud wife and mother! I met my husband, Khalfani, during dental school, and we’ve been together ever since. We have three beautiful children—Jazara, Jaliyah, and Jakai—who keep our lives full of love, laughter, and joy. As a family, we love to travel and explore new places. We believe in helping our children experience the world through travel—broadening their perspectives, building lasting memories, and fostering a love for different cultures. Family is everything to me, and I strive to bring that same sense of care and connection to the families I work with every day.
